Today we drive from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, through a little part of Idaho, back to Utah.
Shannon en Stuart hadden ons verteld hoe lekker de frambozen shakes zijn bij Bear Lake dus zijn we even gestopt om er een te bestellen, geen grote maar een normale.......ja, ja....normaal. Wij meten zo'n 30 cm hoog!!!!
Shannon and Stuart told us how tasty the raspberry shakes are at Bear Lake so we stopped for them, not a big one but a regular.....yeah, yeah...regular. We messured it must be about 12 inches high!!!

In Logan Canyon zagen we een vrouwtjes eland lopen. Die beesten zijn alleen zo verlegen dat ze zich snel verstoppen als je je camera pakt.....verdikkies!!

In Logan zat weer een prachtige quiltshop en ik kon dit keer mijn zakgeld niet in mijn zak houden....

Aan het eind van de dag kwamen we aan bij Salt Lake, in het meer ligt Antilope Island.

Op het eiland staat één oude boerderij die voor het publiek te bezichtigen is en verder lopen er zo'n 700 tot 800 bisons op het eiland.

Een dijk van 7 mijl, ruim 11 km verbindt het eiland met de vaste wal.

Onze vakantie nadert nu echt zijn einde, we zijn weer terug in het eerste hotel in Provo voor de laatste nachten. Ik ben vanochtend bezig geweest om te kijken of alle aankopen in de koffers passen.....gelukkig ging dat goed! Daarna reden we naar Salt Lake City.
Our vacation is almost at it's end, we are back at our first hotel in Provo for our last nights. This morning I have been busy trying to fit everything we have bought in our suitcases.....luckily it went well. After that we drove to Salt Lake City.

Dit is Gardner Village in West Jordan (een zuidelijke voorstad van Salt Lake City) hier zijn allemaal leuke winkeltjes en een restaurant gevestigd in oude pioniershuizen die hier bij elkaar zijn geplaatst. Het ziet er prachtig uit!

Shannon en Stuart hadden de moeite genomen om helemaal naar hier te komen rijden om ons te ontmoeten, het was zo leuk om ze weer te zien! We hebben gezellig samen geshopt in een aantal van die leuke winkeltjes vol hebbedingetjes. Shannon liet me haar favoriete quiltshop zien, weer zo veel leuks gezien!
