De temperaturen gaan eindelijk een beetje omhoog dus is het weer lekker om een wandeling in de natuur te maken. Afgelopen weekend deden Alex en ik dit op landgoed "de Horsten" in Wassenaar, de achtertuin van Willem-Alexander en Maxima.
Finally the temperatures are rising a little bit and the weather is nice for a hike in the outdoors. Last weekend we went to estate "the Horsten" the backyard of Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands.
Op het landgoed ligt de Seringenberg, een heuvel begroeid met alleen maar Seringenbomen die momenteel prachtig in bloei staan, het rook er heerlijk!
On the estate lies the 'lilacmountain', a hill overgrown with lilactrees wich are blooming now, it smelled lovely.
Na zo'n heerlijke wandeling is mijn batterijtje altijd weer opgeladen.
After a nice hike my batteries are always loaded again.
Mijn Stars & Poppies quilt vordert ook al aardig. Alle sterren zijn geappliceerd en nu ben ik bezig met de poppies op de borders. Had nooit kunnen denken dat ik het appliceren zo leuk zou vinden, het is een heerlijk werkje!
My Stars & Poppies quilt is progessing. All stars are appliqued and now I am putting the poppies on the borders. I couldn't imagine that I would like it so much to applique, it is so much fun to do!

Looks like your country and ours are warming up at about the same speed our lilacs are just coming out also. Your red white and blues quilt is going to be darling love the circle flowers!

Welja, wandelen in de achtertuin van Willem-Alexander en Maxima, jij doet niet minder LOL Maar mooi is het er zeker, prachtige foto's.
Ik vind je Stars & Poppies quilt ook al zo mooi worden. De applicaties zien er super uit.
